Power hoe / two wheel
A motor hoe or single axle are used due to their size, especially by part-time farmers or gardeners. The motor hoe is used for the loosening of the soil. For this purpose, a horizontally fixed shaft is powered by a petrol, diesel or electric motor. The choppers that are attached to the shaft cut up the soil and thereby loosen it. In the case of motor hoes without drive wheels, the chopping shaft ensures the movement in that the choppers dig themselves into the ground while simultaneously pulling themselves forward. Wheels are often assembled to facilitate the transport of the device. They also facilitate the guidance of the motor hoe.
Single axles, rotary cultivators or single axle tractors are also powered either by diesel, petrol or electric motors.
As the name already implies, these dispose of only one axle on which two wheels are fixed. The most common attachments for the single axle are milling machines, ploughs, mulchers and sweepers. Working comfort is equally important for the use of a single axle. Hence, the holm should be adjustable in height. In the case of most single axles, the holm can be adjusted sideways and also 180°.
This enables the attachment of different devices such as for example a mower or a sweeper. Tipping trailers or sulkies can just as well be attached, this way the single axle becomes a very manœuvrable tractor that can also be deployed on very narrow paths.
